The Clinical Research Specialist will work within a team of specialized professionals and reports to the Manager for Global Nutrition & Clinicals. He/she will be a part of the Arla Strategic Innovation Centre, and be responsible for driving projects on health claims across Arla's organization and partners globally.

The Clinical Research Specialist works cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders such as the Contract Research Organization, Universities and regulatory consultants to ensure documentation of health claims within strategic areas.

Responsibilities and goals:
The Clinical Research Specialist's main objective is to drive health benefits and health claim opportunities and transform this knowledge and expertise into business value. Part of this is supporting research and NPD projects from start to finish in close cooperation with Medical Marketing/Marketing and Sales, external partners and Arla R&D.

Vi søger en laborantelev til afdelingen Advanced Analysis i Aarhus. Du vil indgå i en gruppe, som arbejder med kemiske analyser af fødevarer og fødevareingredienser primært baseret på væskekromatografi. Vi supporterer R&D med udvikling af nye analysemetoder samt kvalitetssikring af eksisterende produkter.

I løbet af din elevtid vil du også stifte bekendtskab med analysemetoder baseret på GC, IR-spektrofotometri, ionkromatografi og NMR.

A PhD scholarship is available at the Department of Chemistry at the Technical University of Denmark. The scholarship is co-financed by the Danish Council for Independent Research Council, Technology and Production Sciences.

Background and relevance
The exhaustion of fossil resources requires that alternative pathways to fuels and materials are developed. Utilization of biomass is one of the more prominent solutions and the use of sustainable chemical reactions (i.e. catalysis) is suggested. The chemical components of biomass are typically richer in oxygen than the desired products, thus requiring chemical reactions capable of reducing the oxygen content. Although traditional chemical routes involving dehydration, oxidation and hydrogenation have shown some promise more efficient solutions are needed.

Research Plan
We propose to further expand the scope of these processes by carrying out a combined theoretical and experimental investigation of known transformations.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (CFB) at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is looking for a computational biology software developer to work on an industrial research collaboration with a US-based synthetic biology company.

The project will be done in collaboration with a professional software engineering and bioinformatics team at the company. The CFB is an independent research unit at the DTU that conducts research on cell factory development and synthetic biology.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Development of new systems biology backend components for a leading edge synthetic biology software platform
• Testing and modifying published computational methods for specific tasks
• Implementation of efficient versions of these methods in Python
• Integration of the novel components with overall software infrastructure
• Testing, validation (against published data) and documentation of the new software components

The section for Synthetic Biology Toolkit for Yeast at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (CFB) is looking for an excellent Researcher/Postdoctoral fellow with expertise in yeast genetics for improved strain design and shortened development process. With your extensive experience in yeast homologous recombination, genetics and cloning, we expect you to fast integrate in our product-oriented biotechnology section.

CFB is a DTU research center and is on par with a traditional academic university department, but without an educational mission. Besides its basic research in bioengineering, CFB is also aiming at innovation by developing new technologies and transferring knowledge to industry for the benefit of society. The CFB is therefore organized to operate at the interphase of basic and translational research.

Responsibilities and tasks
Your key responsibilities will be to design and implement genetic tools focusing on vector design, in vivo DNA assembly and stabile genome insertions for improved expression and yield of candidate metabolites/chemicals.

The National Food Institute (DTU Food) invites applications for two positions as postdocs/assistant professors in molecular microbial ecology and genomics.

The successful applicants will be based in the Research Group for Microbial Genomics and Antimicrobial Resistance, Division for Epidemiology and Microbial Genomics at DTU Food. The research group is EU and WHO reference laboratory for antimicrobial resistance, and combines expertise in conventional and molecular microbiology with epidemiology and bioinformatics

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (CFB) at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is seeking a laboratory technician to join the Synthetic Biology Toolkit for Yeast section.

The CFB is an expanding research center that focuses on the use of advanced metabolic engineering techniques and synthetic biology tools for developing the next generation of cell factories. The center comprises various research units (several scientific Sections and a Core unit). The Synthetic Biology Toolkit for Yeast team is part of the Core unit and is exploiting designing novel technology for the sustainable production of value chemicals.

Responsibilities and tasks
As a technician in the lab you will support ef¬forts in further developing and optimizing Synthetic Biology tools for Yeast. You will be integrated in a dynamic international research team and responsible for supporting the daily research activities in the Synthetic Biology Toolkit for Yeast lab. Responsibilities will include preparing common growth media and solutions.

A postdoc position (2.5 years) in Microfabricated Ultrasonic Transducers is available in the MEMS-Applied Sensors group headed by Prof. Erik V. Thomsen, Department of Micro- and Nano­tech­no­logy, DTU Nanotech. The project is focused on developing miniature ultrasonic transducers for use in medical imaging. The project is in collaboration with DTU Electrical Engineering and several companies.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a PhD degree (or equivalent) in physics or nanotechnology and have extensive experience in working with cleanroom technologies (including thin film deposition, pattern generation, etching and material analysis), experience in lumped element modelling, programming skills in tools like Matlab, Mathematica, and labview. Furthermore, it is advantageous if the candidate has experience in working with piezoelectric materials including screen printed devices based on PZT. You should furthermore be highly motivated, team player, ambitious, and have a high scientific standard.

Vi skal netop til at starte en ny produktionslinje op primo august måned, hvortil vi har brug for 6 maskinoperatører. Vi kører 12 timers rullende skift fordelt over alle ugens dage. Arbejdet vil bestå i betjening, fejlsøgning og opstilling af vores produktionsudstyr, der omfatter kalandreringsmaskiner, ekstrudere, blandere, viklere og håndteringsudstyr.

Derudover har vi 2 ledige stillinger som henholdsvis lagermedarbejder på daghold (mandag - torsdag kl. 7-15, fredag kl. 7-14) og en maskinoperatør stilling på fast aftenhold (kl. 15-23 mandag - torsdag).
