Hevesy Laboratoriet er et forskningsprogram på DTU Risø Campus. I programmet satses på forskning i, udvikling af samt produktion af radioaktive lægemidler og biologiske sporstoffer. Det er et område, der er stærk ekspanderende efterspørgsel på i sundhedsvæsenet og medicinalindustrien.

Sporstofferne fremstilles ved mærkning af passende organiske udgangsstoffer med radioaktive nuklider fra cyklotron eller reaktorbestrålet materiale.

Kvalifikationer
Du forventes at have:

• En relevant uddannelse som laborant, laboratorietekniker eller bioanalytiker
• Erfaring med arbejde under GMP eller andre kvalitetssikringssystemer
• Erfaring med HPLC og/eller GC vil være en fordel, men er ikke et krav, da intern træning vil blive givet

The programme for Energy Systems Analysis provides research within the field of energy, environment and economy. The programme is a cross-disciplinary research unit employing 19 scientists/senior scientists and Ph.D.-students with expertise in economics, operations research and/ or technical research. The research is project oriented in collaboration with Danish and international research institutes.

Responsibilities and tasks
PhD project in "Value Chain Optimisation in Biogas production" with special focus on:

• Price structure and strategy concerning biogas production – inputs and outputs
• Analysing ownership structure, risk and financing
• Analysing policy instruments and incentives in a biogas context
• Contribute to development of a value chain model at national level
• Linking an existing energy systems model and the value chain model

• Data collection and development of a conceptual model of the value chain to be used for modelling
• Development of an economic optimisation model of the value chain based on state-of-the-art methods in stochastic programming
• Development and testing of the value chain model at plant and national level

We are seeking a postdoc to help providing a data basis for comparison of electrolysis technologies.

Job description
You will carry out systems simulations (balance of plant level) with the aim to identify the most efficient and cost competitive schemes for integrating electrolysis in the future, sustainable energy system. Your main task will be to develop and/or use modeling tools with thermodynamic, kinetic and economic input data.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or similar.
• A strong background in computer modeling techniques will be required and past experience should be documented in your application.
• Insight in chemical process engineering as well as thermodynamics and chemical reaction kinetics will be important.
• Similarly you should be able to work independently, to plan and carry out complicated tasks in a large, dynamic research environment.

The place of work will be the DTU Risø campus near Roskilde.
