We are seeking a postdoc to help providing a data basis for comparison of electrolysis technologies.
You will carry out systems simulations (balance of plant level) with the aim to identify the most efficient and cost competitive schemes for integrating electrolysis in the future, sustainable energy system. Your main task will be to develop and/or use modeling tools with thermodynamic, kinetic and economic input data.
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or similar.
- A strong background in computer modeling techniques will be required and past experience should be documented in your application.
- Insight in chemical process engineering as well as thermodynamics and chemical reaction kinetics will be important.
- Similarly you should be able to work independently, to plan and carry out complicated tasks in a large, dynamic research environment.
The place of work will be the DTU Risø campus near Roskilde.
