Research Engineer for the 3D Imaging Centre

The Department of Physics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) invites applications for a position as Research Engineer for the 3D Imaging Center.
The section Neutrons and X-rays for Materials Physics (NEXMAP) at DTU Physics focuses on gaining knowledge on fundamental properties of materials through experiments conducted at large-scale neutron and X-ray facilities around the world. Development of instruments, software for virtual experiments, and novel data analysis methods play a key role in this effort. In addition the section seeks to exploit the competence in X-ray methodology for innovative solutions for the benefit of the industry.
The DTU 3D Imaging Centre (www.imaging.dtu.dk) is a portal for industrial application, public sector consultancy and research within 3D imaging of materials focused on both instrumentation and data analysis. In addition the centre serves as a collaborative platform towards ESS (europeanspallationsource.se/) and MAX-IV (www.maxlab.lu.
