Sektion for Protonledere ved DTU Energikonvertering søger en laborant/tekniker til forskningsstøtte og arbejde med drift og vedligehold af apparatur. Sektionen beskæftiger sig med forskning og udvikling af både brændsels- og elektrolyseceller i temperatur området fra 100 – 500°C.

For polymerbrændselsceller med drifttemperatur over 100 grader er sektionen blandt de førende i verden. Vi arbejder med alle aspekter af brændselscellen op til enkeltcelleniveau, lige fra fremstilling af polymerer og katalysatorer til samling og test af de færdige celler. Forskningen foregår i et tæt samarbejde med både danske og udenlandske samarbejdspartnere.

Du vil komme til at indgå i en sektion med 25 forskere og teknikere, samt en række studerende på forskelligt niveau. Arbejdssproget i sektionen er primært engelsk, da ca. halvdelen af medarbejderne kommer fra udlandet. Sektionen har en bred vifte af analyseudstyr og flere laboratorier.

Institut for Socialfaglig og Pædagogisk Efter- og Videreuddannelse (ISPE) søger en forskningsfaglig ansvarlig til afdelingen Nationalt Center for Erhvervspædagogik (NCE) med tiltræden den 1. august 2013.

Som forskningsfaglig ansvarlig bliver du en central spiller i vores igangværende arbejde med at opbygge et praksisnært erhvervspædagogisk forsknings- og udviklingsmiljø. Blandt de vigtige temaer er undervisningsdifferentiering, motivation, innovation & entreprenørskab samt læring i praktikken. Axellus A/S søger pr. 5. august 2013 en produktudvikler til et barselsvikariat i afdelingen Farmaceutisk Udvikling.  Farmaceutisk Udvikling består af en afdelingsleder, en produktudvikler og 2 udviklingsassistenter. Vikariatet forventes at vare ca. 9 måneder.

A 3 year postdoc position is available at The Systems Biotechnology group. The position focuses on establishing an Ultrahigh-throughput screening method.
The Systems Biotechnology group has a strong commitment to research and development in the field of new microbial bioconversion processes. Building on our competences within systems and synthetic biology, we develop new robust microbial workhorses to meet the future challenges involved in conversion of sustainable feedstocks.

Responsibililties and tasks
The specific project is funded by a grant from the Novo Nordic Foundation and aims to develop Ultrahigh-throughput methods for screening large microbial cell populations. The post doc will be involved in developing a droplets based technology for encapsulating microbial cells and subsequent cell sorting. The work will include strain engineering using synthetic/systems biology, as well as working with microfluidic devices and the postdoc will work in close collaboration with the Department of Nanotechnology at the Technical University of Denmark.

The department of Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark
invites applications for a 1 year Postdoc position in wastewater treatment and micro pollutants characterization.

The Postdoc will serve in the Urban Water Engineering section, one of the four sections comprising the department. The section conducts basic and applied research in urban water.

Responsibilities and tasks
The candidate will participate in planning and performing experiments on the removal of micro pollutants including pharmaceuticals on an experimental wastewater treatment unit which applies wastewater treatment based on biofilm technology followed by ozonation.
The candidate will be responsible for the experiments on the treatment system, but not for the daily running of the treatment units.
The candidate will be the main responsible for analyzing samples for micro pollutants and measuring ecotoxic effects of water samples in collaboration with skilled laboratory technicians.

We are looking for a scientist with an interest in clinical research, TB and translational immunology. You will be responsible for building up a human immunology group and the job includes management responsibilities in this regard.

• Responsible for the introduction/development of novel in vitro immunological assays for the assessment of vaccine activity

Qualifications

• Research experience within human immune assays
• Previous experience with vaccine research and clinical trials  is an advantage

2 Postdoc stipends are available at DTU Nanotech in the framework of the Advanced Technology Foundation project Safe Flame Retardants.

Supported by the Advanced Technology Foundation, the positions are part of a joint project – Safe Flame Retardants SFR - between DTU Nanotech, Danish Technological Institute and companies Icopal, Egetæpper, and Kemotextil. SFR aims to encapsulate flame retardants and make these encapsulated flame retardants compatible with a variety of materials.

The first of the two postdocs (Postdoc 1) will focus on technologies to make the encapsulated fire retardants compatible with bitumen (used in roofing) and textiles. The effort will focus on surface treatments involving both low molecular weight surface modifiers and polymeric additives. The study will involve the use of modeling tools to help choosing the optimal surface treatment.

The second of the two postdocs (Postdoc 2) will assist in the above studies and have a special responsibility for the transfer of the developed technology to the SFR project partners.
