Online Marketing Manager – Danfoss Automatic Controls (AC)

You will play a central role in developing an online marketing setup which will exploit opportunities and maximise benefit for internal stakeholders and external partners and customers.
Danfoss Automatic Controls is a business unit in our Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Controls division, serving manufacturers, contractors, distributors and installers globally with mechanical and electronic controls. You will be part of our Global Communication team, which aims at best-in-industry practice in industrial B2B.
Identification, definition and execution of relevant online marketing projects
Your overall mission will be to define and head online marketing projects that will increase awareness, positioning and user-friendliness in the online media channels utilised or potentially utilised by internal stakeholders, external partners and customers. In cooperation with different departments in Danfoss, you will identify and define requirements and opportunities within online marketing and subsequently execute the projects necessary to ensure a user-friendly, well-positioned and lean online marketing setup. Your areas of responsibility will involve:
- Defining strategies and plans for use of our new website platform
- Exploring and exploiting opportunities in social media, including LinkedIn and other relevant industry forums
- Leading the development of mobile sales tools
- Co-developing new tablet or smartphone apps for our target groups
- Defining and maintaining a setup for direct customer communication
- Identifying and setting up outsourcing and offshoring opportunities
Innovation, curiosity and significant experience within online marketing
As a minimum you hold a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or similar. You have solid working experience within online marketing in the broadest sense and have exhaustive experience translating customers’ needs to value-adding information tools. You know how to manage online marketing projects involving stakeholders from several entities and you possess business acumen and has an interest in the industrial B2B. You have strong English skills, an interest in IT systems and sufficient knowledge to engage in technical discussions with internal and external experts. On a more personal level you are innovative, self-driven and have excellent interpersonal skills. Finally, you are curious and experimenting, and you take ownership of your area of responsibility. The position will entail approx. 30 travel days per year.
We prefer the right candidate to be based in either USA (Baltimore, MD) or Denmark (Copenhagen, Nordborg or Kolding).
