Director of Division Controlling, RC Division

Do you have a global mindset, and are you ready to excel within an international financial environment? Then you could be our new Director of Division Controlling in RC. Division Controlling is responsible for controlling and consolidating six product lines in Danfoss all with full value chains including sales, marketing, R&D and supply chain with several production sites across the globe. You will play a pivotal role as an essential financial competency and sparring partner to our CFO and to the finance functions in the product lines as well as being the divisional representative in corporate improvement projects within the finance area. You can look forward to a job that includes diverse responsibilities from financial planning and reporting as well as development, implementation and alignment of financial process improvements and sharing of best practices. Furthermore, you will be leading, coaching and developing an international team of 5 controllers. You will be based in Nordborg and the position includes 20-30 travelling days per year.
 
Alignment, forecasting, quality and governance
You report to the CFO and your role will be to ensure and improve the financial controlling and accounting quality within the division as well as securing a clear business focus in all financial processes and procedures. You will be driving continuous improvements in the financial community, developing and implementing new or improved finance concepts in the business and thereby securing a high quality level in our planning and compliance. You will be a key contributor to and facilitator for the division’s financial community and act as anchor point for many finance and business system projects in the group. You also play an important role in the strategy and perspective processes for RC and the product lines. As representative of the RC Division you participate in several committees and projects across Danfoss and work closely with the different product lines, the different divisions as well as with Corporate Finance, Global Service and other relevant stakeholders.
 
Solid business sense and management skills from a finance organisation
You are among the best within your field and besides your MSc degree in finance and accounting and/or being a public accountant, your track record displays solid experience from a managerial position within an international setting, working with business controlling, strategy processes, forecasting and planning. Taking leadership comes natural to you, and you have well-developed understanding of business environments and the connected challenges. You conduct firm decision-making while being clearly focused on creating results and delivering on time. You are characterised by an energetic nature and positive attitude. Together with your solid communication skills in English these assets enable you to build a strong network across organisational levels and cultures. From your colleagues’ point of view you are known as a committed person, who has a high degree of integrity and personal matureness, and you are known as a team player, who share best practices among the organisation.
