Project Manager (SC Technology Outsourcing)
Do you want to use your technical insight to ensure smooth and successful coordination between Supply Chain and R&D during the product development process? Then you could be the next Product Project Manager in our Supply Chain (SC) Core Team within Danfoss Power Electronics (PE). We are dedicated to projects ranging from product enhancements to full-scale re-designs with technology never before used in drives. We are located in Gråsten, Denmark.
Bridge Supply Chain and Product Development
Your primary task is to lead Supply Chain activities and resources within our product development projects by making sure that the Supply Chain perspective is integrated into the projects in terms of Supply Chain technology and disciplines. In fact, you ensure high quality products meeting costumer requirements on time and at targeted cost through integrated and cross-functional product development. Your tasks include:
- Ensure and support Supply Chain front end inputs to business cases from all PE’s business segments
- Incorporate PDP Danfoss’ guidelines and PE’s T100 structure and processes in all Supply Chain product project activities and interactions
Your role is that of the classical Project Manager leading projects of varying sizes and leading project members without having the formal personnel responsibility. You report to the Director of Global Supply Chain Product Projects, who is located in the US, and your job comes with a wide range of contacts across the organisation.
Engineer with SCM experience and solid people skills
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. In addition, you have solid product development process experience from either R&D or Supply Chain. On top of that you have a solid understanding of manufacturing and R&D functions/processes enabling you to ensure DFM. On a more personal note you are confident and enjoy taking the lead, and you are fully capable of heading an organised project team consisting of technical professionals. Your great communication and presentation skills are integrated parts of your work method, as is your ability to facilitate meetings and processes. In other words, you possess an equal amount of technical insight and people skills. Proficiency in English is also required.
