R&D Manager Support
Are you ready to put your management skills to the test leading a small department and develop, implement and drive a clear resource and project portfolio planning process? Then join the Danfoss Indoor Climate Solutions (ICS) R&D – a world-leading vendor of heating and indoor climate systems as R&D Manager Support. The R&D department employs approx. 100 people, and our knowledge centre in Vejle drives our development of control systems and software, with 30 dedicated employees. You will be based in Vejle and can expect 20-30 travel days a year.
Ensure competent technical product support
Your primary focus is to lead and develop the support department in R&D with 2-3 employees and you become responsible for our laboratories and test facilities. You play an active role in our management team and head the overall resource and project portfolio planning driving and coordinating resource planning across the division. Among your key tasks are:
- Technical support towards supply chain, EMS manufactures and business units
- Product adaptions and Data Management
- Represent ICS R&D in the change control process

Inspiring leader with substantial project management experience
Being an experienced R&D engineer or project manager within the field of electronic product development, you possess all the basic project management tools. You are used to manage and coach teams and you thrive in the leadership role as the beacon that motivates your colleagues to be at their best in order to achieve common goals and milestones. Due to your systematic and analytic approach, you are able to organise multiple tasks. Furthermore your natural authority enables you to handle heavy pressure and requirements from multiple key stakeholders. Your structure and energy are factors that enable you to get things done and since you are highly service-minded and a team player, you thrive on giving that bit of extra to secure the successful outcome. In addition, you have excellent communication skills and master Danish and English fluently, which enable you to build relations across organisational and disciplinary boundaries.
