Supplier Quality Engineer
Do you have a solid understanding of quality improvements and do you have a track record working closely with suppliers around the world? If you also have experience working with supply chain and electronics, then the position as Supplier Quality Engineer at Danfoss might be the opportunity you are looking for. You will work out of our office in Nordborg, and some travel is expected (40 days / year), mainly to our factories in Europe and China.
Network, coordination and management with suppliers
You will report directly to the Quality Manager and your prime objective is to build relations with suppliers and drive supplier quality management projects. Other tasks will include:
- change control management with suppliers
- quality auditing
- supplier complaint and improvement management
- supplier quality performance
- problem solving and crisis management
- continuous improvement of suppliers
- quality management system support
- quality project management
- document and record control
It will be in your remit to work closely with our suppliers and build strong relations with our key stakeholders. In order to align our business internationally, you will improve our suppliers’ quality performance.
Solid supply chain understanding and project management skills
You have an educational background in electronic engineering or in an applied science discipline. You have the ability to use statistical methods to drive continuous improvements and you have experience from ISO standards with specific knowledge from ISO 9001 and ISO/16949. You have excellent communication skills and you are also an excellent problem solver. It is important that you are result-driven and comfortable taking on project management responsibilities. Finally you master the problem solving toolbox (FMEA, 8D analysis, etc.) and are proficient in Microsoft Office tools and statistical tools (Minitab). You speak and write English fluently.
