Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer
Do you want to design innovative solutions that maintain us as a market leader? We are looking for a motivated and pragmatic CFD Specialist for the Product Development department part of the Cement Division, Global Technology Centre in FLSmidth. Here you will work closely with 23 other enthusiastic colleagues committed to derive and design products for our cement business areas. The position is based in Copenhagen.
Develop burners, calciners, numerical models etc.
You will join the Mechanical and Fluid Analysis team, where you and your colleagues focus on securing FLSmidth’s leading position within numerical two-phase/combustion technologies. Relying on your specialist skills, you will contribute to the development of:
MSc with creative mindset and vast knowledge of CFD
You hold a Master’s degree in Fluid Dynamics, preferably combined with experience in chemical reactions. You have vast knowledge of CFD and know what it can and cannot do. You are now ready for a position where you can further explore these boundaries and preferably find ways to push them. This calls for a highly creative mindset and the desire to contemplate innovative solutions 24/7. If you are conversant with terms such as Arrhenius Rate Reactions, Numerical Discretisation Schemes or Navier-Stokes, then we strongly urge you to apply. You must have solid analytical skills and thrive in a role where you work with people across a global organisation. To this end, you also need good communication skills.
