What is the IT Graduate programme all about?
The programme is an intense sequence of continuous challenges providing you with a broad range of skills within the area of IT, from Development, Project preparation and execution and implementation of IT solutions that makes a difference for our Business.

Within the two-year programme you will have three rotations within the IT organisation. Your role and responsibility of each rotation will be adjusted to your skills and interest to support your future development and the business needs. Examples:

  • Working as Process or Solution Consultant will provide you with a thorough understanding of our business and it will also require you to be able help us identify issues and opportunities and find the right solutions for an ever faster moving business environment. Given the range of our assortments and distribution channels the challenges are significant, from providing solutions to support long term planning of Textile Sourcing on the world market to the day-to-day dynamics of fresh produce and local producers with lead-times below 24 hours.
  • As Project Manager you will be working with all aspects of Project Management from project initiation with planning and budgeting to managing the delivery stages with build, test and roll-out. Given the complexity of our projects it will typically include cross-team coordination, managing agreements with 3rd party suppliers, risk assessment, cost monitoring and facilitation of the Steering Group with members from the Top Management of Dansk Supermarked.

Your primary place of work will be Dansk Supermarked Group’s offices in Årslev, Aarhus.

Personal skills
First and foremost you are ambitious, goal oriented and highly motivated and committed to succeed. You have analytical skill with the ability to understand complex problems and identify alternative solutions and you work well under pressure. You are able to deliver high-quality results on time. You thrive in a role with many different stakeholders, and you have above average communicational skills and an open mind allowing you to work and communicate with colleagues in many departments and on various levels of the company.

Professional skills
You have recently graduated or are about to graduate with a master´s degree well above average in the area of Supply Chain / Finance/ Information System. You have relevant work experience either gained during your studies or you have up to a maximum of one year’s full time experience after your graduation.

You have excellent language skills in English - fluent both spoken and written.
